Education

Dr. Chris Leiszler loves practicing dentistry because it gives him the opportunity to utilize his interests in science, art, and craftsmanship. He attended the University of Kansas, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Biology in 2001. Dr. Leiszler continued on to the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry, earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2005.

Continuing Education

Dr. Leiszler has chosen to advance his knowledge and skills far beyond what he learned in his four years of dental school. He has completed the continuum at the renowned Pankey Institute and has furthered his education at the Dawson Academy and Spear Education. These institutions are regarded as some of the very best places for dentists to receive continuing education in the world. They have had a major influence on Dr. Leiszler's approach to providing high-quality, long-lasting, beautiful dentistry. More importantly, they have helped him build a practice that reflects his own personal values of listening, understanding, and caring so that he may be more effective in helping his patients achieve a lifetime of health, comfort, and beautiful smiles.

In the Community

Being an active member of his community is very important to Dr. Leiszler. He has served on the Board for the Douglas County Dental Clinic, a clinic for low-income families, since 2005. He is also a Big Brother for Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Douglas County. Dr. Leiszler has always been a supporter of multiple charities and organizations in the Baldwin community such as the Lumberyard Arts Center, the Baldwin Food Pantry, the Baldwin City Children's Choir, and the Baldwin Education Foundation, just to name a few.

Family Life
