Jennifer Baldwin - Office Manager Jennifer graduated from Washburn University in 2006 with her Bachelors in Business Management. The field of dentistry is a great fit for her personality because she loves working with people and enjoys helping people understand any financial concerns they may have. She has had the privilege of working with excellent dentists who have taught her valuable lessons and skills concerning dental health. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, cheering on the Jayhawks and Chiefs, scrapbooking, golfing with her dad & brother in the summer, and warm weather. Michele Ritzman, RDH - Dental Hygienist Michele, a Lawrence native, has been working in the field of dentistry for 21 years, and she has spent the last 11 years providing care as a dental hygienist. She continues to grow professionally as she is currently pursuing advanced degrees in her field with a future goal of becoming an instructor of dental hygiene. Michele also volunteers on a part-time basis providing care at the Douglas County Dental Clinic for low-income and uninsured residents of Douglas County. She also has recently completed the necessary coursework to obtain her Extended Care Permit II which has enabled her to initiate an ongoing outreach project to provide dental hygiene care to elderly patients in nursing homes. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Paul, her teenage son, Preston, and her horse, Spartan.
Missy Boutch - Dental Assistant Missy graduated from TSTI in Waco, TX with an Associate of Applied Science degree in 1988. She has over 16 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in Texas and Louisiana. She attended LSU Dental School for her Radiology Certificate and has taken numerous continuing education courses over the years. She and her family moved to Kansas in 2007 after Hurricane Katrina. Missy, along with her husband Greg and their teenage son Garrett enjoy spending time at Lake of the Ozarks boating, jet skiing, and playing with their four dogs.
Jessica Hill - Part-time Dental Assistant Jessica is a Pre-Dental Student at Baker University majoring in Microbiology and minoring in Business. She is a native of Baldwin City. She has gained a lot of experience while observing and assisting Dr. Leiszler ever since the practice opened in 2007. She hopes to begin dental school after graduating from Baker in 2010. Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cheering on the Jayhawks, and of course studying. |
