Dr. Chris Leiszler is a 2005 graduate of UMKC School of Dentistry. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas in 2001. Chris has actually been involved in the field of dentistry since 1996, working in various dental offices and dental labs continually through high school, college, and dental school. These years of experience have afforded him the opportunity to be exposed to many different "styles" of dentistry, thus enabling him to utilize the best attributes that he's picked up from each practice he's been a part of.
Dr. Leiszler places an important emphasis on continuing his dental education beyond the basics of dental school. He has made a commitment to study with some of the best dentists in the world at such institutions as the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education (www.pankeydentist.org) and the Dawson Center for the Advancement of Dentistry (www.dawsoncenter.com). The concepts that Dr. Leiszler learns at the these institutions excite him and continuously renew his passion for the practice of dentistry.
Dr. Leiszler prefers to simply be called "Chris". He has an approachable demeanor and loves meeting new people. He is married to his best friend, Anne-Marie, and they welcomed their first child, Harrison, into the world on June 1, 2009. They also have a Welsh Terrier named Ralphie who is always good for some comic relief in their busy lives. The Leiszlers love KU sports, traveling and enjoying the great outdoors.
